Founded in 2011, a small family business dedicated to creating high-quality byrek of two package type that honors the rich culinary heritage of Albania. By sourcing locally and using traditional with modern techniques, they are able to create a delicious and nourishing snack that stands out in the industry.You can find them in every food market in Tirana and even in some other city near Tirana. We make delivery in every big or small market with just calling for our product, we bring it to you.

  • ✓ 1 pound fresh spinach, washed and chopped
  • ✓ 1/2 pound feta cheese, crumbled
  • ✓ 1/2 cup olive oil
  • ✓ 1/2 cup water
  • ✓ Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ✓ 1 package byrek Don Juri
  • ✓ 1/2 cup melted butter

◇ Preparation ◇

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil. In a large bowl, mix the spinach, feta cheese, olive oil, water, salt, and pepper. Lay a sheet of filo pastry in the greased baking dish and brush it with melted butter. Repeat with 5 more filo sheets. Spread the spinach and feta mixture over the filo pastry. Cover the mixture with another 6 layers of filo pastry, brushing each layer with melted butter. Cut the byrek into squares or triangles and brush the top layer with more melted butter. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until the byrek is golden brown and crispy. Serve hot or cold, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

  • ✓ 1 pound ground beef
  • ✓ 2 onions, chopped
  • ✓ 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ✓ 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • ✓ Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ✓ 1 package byrek Don Juri
  • ✓ 1/2 cup melted butter

◇ Preparation ◇

Preheat the oven to 190°C and grease a baking dish with olive oil. In a large pan, sauté the onions in olive oil until they are soft and translucent. Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Season the meat with paprika, salt, and pepper and stir to combine. Lay a sheet of filo Don Juri byrek into greased baking dish and brush it with melted butter. Repeat with half of the filo sheets. Spread the ground beef mixture over the filo pastry. Cover the mixture with the other half layers of filo pastry, brushing each layer with melted butter. Cut the byrek into squares or triangles and brush the top layer with more melted butter. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until the byrek is golden brown and crispy. Serve hot or cold, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

  • ✓ 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • ✓ 1 onion, chopped
  • ✓ 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ✓ 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ✓ Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ✓ 1 package byrek Don Juri
  • ✓ 1/2 cup melted butter

◇ Preparation ◇

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil. Boil the diced potatoes until tender, then drain and mash them in a bowl. Add the chopped onion, shredded cheddar cheese, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to the mashed potatoes and stir to combine. Lay a sheet of filo pastry in the greased baking dish and brush it with melted butter. Repeat with 5 more filo sheets. Spread the potato and cheese mixture over the filo pastry. Cover the mixture with another 6 layers of filo pastry, brushing each layer with melted butter. Cut the byrek into squares or triangles and brush the top layer with more melted butter. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until the byrek is golden brown and crispy. Serve hot or cold, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
